Wolf Guard - wczesny WIP / early WIP

Obecnie jestem w trakcie malowania piątego Space Wolfa. Tym razem będzie to Wolf Guard, przywódca jednego oddziału Grey Hunterów. Zdjęcie poniżej to wczesny WIP. Zacząłem od torsu z rękami. Na drugi odstrzał pójdą nogi i głowa. Póki co nie potrafię malować w pełni sklejonego wojownika. Jak Ci ludzie docierają w te wszystkie zakamarki, heh. Trochę się boję, ponieważ tym razem farby nakładam w innej kolejności i chcę spróbować odważniejszej techniki two brush blending. Cóż zobaczymy jak to będzie.

Currently, I am in the course of painting the fifth Space Wolf. This time it will be a Wolf Guard, the leader of Grey Hunters’s unit. The picture below is an early WIP. I started with the torso with arms. On the second go legs and head. So far I can not paint fully glued warrior. How do people reach all thenooks and crannies, heh. I’m a little afraid because this time I put the paint in a different order, and I want to try bolder two brush blending technique.Well we'll see how it goes.

Grey Hunters - początki oddziału / the beginnings of the unit

Po wojownikach chaosu przyszedł czas na moje nowe figurki Space Wolves’ów. Inne kształty, nowe kolory. Było ciężko zwłaszcza, że zacząłem wypróbowywać technikę liningu oraz na dwóch ostatnich figsach technikę two brush blending. Nie da się ukryć, że najbardziej czekałem na dobranie się do trzeciej figurki z lewej. Twarzy jeszcze nigdy nie malowałem, więc facjata tego wojownika to mój debiut. Mam nadzieję, że udany :)

After the warriors of chaos came time for my new Space Wolves figures. Other shapes, new colors. It was hard especially that I started to try out the blacklining technique and two brush blending technique on the last two figs. There's no denying that the most waited miniature was the third figure from the left. I have never painted a face so here is my debut. I hope that the successful :)

Nowy początek / New beginning

Mówi się, że pierwsza myśl bywa tą najlepszą. Kiedy zapytano mnie, czy nie chciałbym założyć bloga w postaci pamiętnika moich dokonań na polu malarskim, pomyślałem sobie: „…a czemu by nie?” :)

The first thing I want to write is that, uhm… sry guys for my English ;) Don’t remember when last time I used it on a scrap of paper.

It is said that the first thought is sometimes the best. When I was asked if I would like to start a blog as a diary of my achievements in the field of painting I thought: “…why not?” :)

Jeszcze ponad cztery miesiące temu kiedy zaczynałem przygodę z malowaniem figurek, nie powiedziałbym, że założę bloga o takiej tematyce. Spodziewałem się raczej słomianego zapału z tego tytułu.… a tu proszę, wciąż maluję, czytam teksy i oglądam filmiki na ten temat. Jestem amatorem, pasjonatą. Do idealnie pomalowanych figsów brakuje mi 100lat i jeszcze jeden dzień dłużej. Niemniej jednak „ożywianie” tych malutkich postaci sprawia mi wielką frajdę. Zatem postanowiłem uwiecznić moje dokonania w tym oto pamiętniku, aby móc również korzystać z rad bardziej doświadczonych koleżanek i kolegów, którzy (mam nadzieję) z czasem tutaj zawitają.

About more than four months ago when I started the adventure with painting miniatures I wouldn’t say that I start a blog of painting miniatures. I expected a rather short-lived enthusiasm of this title… and here I am, I still paint, read articles and watch videos about miniature painting. I’m an amateur and a passionate. For perfectly painted minis I miss about 100 years and even one day longer. Nevertheless “revival” those little forms makes me huge pleasure. Because of it I decided to immortalize my achievements here in this diary to be able to benefit from the advice of more experienced colleagues who (hopefully) in time they will come here.

Zapraszam wszystkich do czytania oraz oglądania moich przyszłych wypocin. Obyście oczu na tym nie stracili ;) Jak mi pójdzie, przekonamy się za jakiś czas.
